Post COVID Utility Master Planning for a Medical District (TECO)

As we near “Post-COVID”, updating master plans is critical. TECO serves the Houston Medical District (20+ million sq ft) with industry leading reliability/resiliency while providing cost effective thermal utilities. TECO added CHP and thermal storage as part of the last master plan implementation and provides highly efficient utilities. With recent optimization, efficiency continues to improve. This new master plan includes consideration of CHP#2 and TES#2, water resiliency/hardening, and overall improvements – on a very confined site.
