Driving central plant optimization to achieve next-level sustainability

The third and final chapter of our series, Three Foundations Essential to Accelerate Energy Transformation on Small to Medium-sized Campuses. Sustainability requires more than energy efficiency. Campuses must evaluate greenhouse gas emissions, embedded carbon and water stewardship in addition to many other factors that are important to their communities and stakeholders. Advanced central utility plant optimization provides the data and digital automation necessary to predict outcomes, respond quickly and drive full-scale sustainability while minimizing operational costs. Johnson Controls will explore how simulation tools can be used to prepare for extreme weather conditions, equipment replacement or other “what if” scenarios. This webinar will discuss how CUP optimization can drive grid interconnectivity to leverage demand-based utility pricing. And they will illustrate how advanced fault detection and diagnostics can help prevent performance slippage and lost efficiency.
