Decarbonizing the Swedish First Hill Hospital: Campus Solution, Community Potential

Creative Energy has partnered with Swedish Health Services to decarbonize their flagship campus in Seattle. Creative Energy's solution will eliminate over 8,000 tonnes of GHG emissions annually and transition the campus away from fossil-fuel produced steam to low-carbon heating through an electrification approach that maximizes hospital waste-heat recovery to export surplus waste-heat to the surrounding neighborhood, improving the economy of scale while simultaneously reducing the community's emissions.
